President Russell M. Nelson has told us that
“It has never been more imperative to know how [God] speaks to you than right now.”
Communication from God may be gentle whisperings from the Spirit, thoughts pressing on our minds, experiences of personal prophesy or divinely given dreams.
God also speaks feelings of peace, joy, and love to our hearts.
When we heed the divine communication given through the power of the Holy Ghost, we increase in light, power and grace.
We are promised that when we hearken to the word of God and listen to the Spirit, we will know how to move forward, avoid temptation, receive power against those temptations and struggles we inevitably face, are given miracles and forgiveness of sins.
What beautiful blessings these promises are just from heeding the words God speaks to us.
Some people don't yet know how to recognize the quiet communication that comes from God...or even that God can and does speak to them.
The best way we can help others learn to recognize the Holy Ghost is by sharing our own experiences with them.
It is also one of the best ways we can learn to recgnize the Spirit on a deeper and more consistent basis. The scriptures tell us that when we teach and testify of "those things which are communicated unto us", we will be "instructed more perfectly" and all may be edified.
We know this is true from our own experiences at church on Sundays, in private conversations with family and friends.
Hearken Co. carries those conversations beyond church meetings to help people more easily discern the workings of the Spirit of God in their own lives.
In our new podcast, we are sharing stories of receiving personal revelation from God through the Holy Ghost to help others recognize God speaking to them.
As we prepare to launch the Hearken Co. podcast, I invite you to be a guest and share your spiritual experiences with God and how you came to recognize it was God speaking to you personally.
